Seven stages, one studio
The studio comes in at concept stage, at the architect’s table, before tender. From there the work runs through the seven phases named on the proposal, the programme and the invoices.
Design & documentation
A complete set to tender standard: mark-ups, rack elevations, cable schedules, responsibilities by discipline.
Prewire
Cabling run to the drawings, on the builder’s programme, checked before the walls close.
Cut-out
Every opening set out from the same drawings, read off the architecture rather than the nearest stud.
Factory pre‑build & bench test
The rack built and run as a whole system in our factory, not in your house.
Fit-off
A short clean fit-off, sequenced with the cabinetmaker, the electrical contractor and the painters.
Commissioning
The home tuned as a whole: scenes, levels, the cinema calibrated, the network proved under load.
Handover
The house walked scene by scene with the people who live in it, until nothing needs explaining.
A home that
anticipates you
Every project includes the first twelve months of care. Firmware is managed before it becomes a problem, the system is checked rather than waited on, and there is a named contact at the studio who already knows the house.
After that, a call to Baillie’s aftercare team is answered within fifteen seconds, at any hour, by someone who can log into the home remotely and look at the same system you are standing in front of. Most things are settled on that call.
Sit with it for an hour before you decide anything
The Certified Showroom is a working home rather than a product display. It holds as much technology as most whole houses and none of it is visible: engraved keypads through every room, an 11.4.4 Dolby Atmos cinema, lighting, shade, climate and cameras on the one interface. No demo wall. Nobody pitches.
